Hey ! If you are working on previous versions of 3ds Max and converted your perspective view port to an orthographic one and again pressed "P" to change it into Perspective, but alas! you could not obtain your previous/default view port angle. To obtain that angle just press Control + A and select all objects in your scene and press "Delete" to delete them and now press "Z" on the keyboard. Your view port is now set to default angle. And obviously you have to press "Ctrl+Z" to undo your object deletion. In 3ds Max 2009 and in 3ds Max Design 2009 there is a view cube to do this. Just move your mouse on the view cube and you will see a small home button , click that button to obtain the perspective view port default angle. Cheers.

This does absolutely NOTHING! as soon as you delete and replace all your items the cameras still there and it reverts back, this was useless!
